Starry Night Marathon, Gurugram

Starry Night Marathon, Saturday, October 6 2018, Gurugram, Coach Ravinder Gurugram

Coach Ravinder’s Starry Night Marathon is a beautiful and safe tribute to the running tribe of Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida who rarely get a chance to know the millennium city by night doing their favourite activity.

Gurgaon – famously as the Millennium City has the architecture of corporate buildings, residential units and malls and that’s how the world knows it as! But the city hasn’t lost it hand on greenery – there are Biodiversity parks, societal parks and gardens that have added more to the greenery of the city.

However the city takes up a different personality by the night – Which is what the Starry Night Marathon experience is all about. The Starry Night Marathon in collaboration with the Gurgaon City Police provides a well-guarded route throughout. As a responsible organiser, an association has been formed with the Rapid Metro Authorities too – allowing runners running various distances to get to their starting point without leading to any more pollution on the roads.

The Starry Night Marathon uses a unique route that combines the latest infrastructure of millennium city – right from the widest roads to the newly constructed underpasses.

Night running is still new in India and even more difficult to organise. Here is your one chance once a year to get an experience of pounding a traffic-less, well hydrated, superbly guarded route through the millennium city.
